Our interpreting organiser Sara Høyrup studied a European Master's in Conference Interpreting (EMCI) in 2010. She started this agency immediately after, putting to good use her great network of qualified colleagues.
In 2012, she passed the ACI-test to become an on-call interpreter at the European Institutions' Danish team. She has since worked 500 interpreting days at the European Parliament and the EU Council, EU's Court of Justice and Europol and Eurojust.

She holds a Master of Arts in Spanish and English language and literature, and studied a multilingual Master in political journalism.

She is a literary translator from nine languages. She organised a large Spanish team of translators and editors, proofreaders and quality controllers to carry out the swift translation of 68 novels for Danish publisher giant Gyldendal.

Do we need interpreting equipment?

You need an interpreting booth for your meeting or event in one place. You need chuchotage equipment for mobile interpreting, where your delegation moves around.
The booth is built on the spot by the sound technician, if the venue does not have built-in interpreting booths. The technician stays through-out the entire meeting. What other costs must we cover?
If your event is in Copenhagen, there is likely to be no costs for travel days and transport, hotel and meals.
If your event is elsewhere in Denmark, beyond what we may travel easily to on the same day, these costs will arise.
This is also the case, if we need to ship in interpreters from abroad for you, or if we need to travel abroad from Denmark. Most Danish conference interpreters have their domicile in Copenhagen or elsewhere.

How can we keep costs down?
Conference interpreters are booked months in advance (or even in October for the next year at the European institutions). The earlier you book us, the more likely is it that we may send you a local interpreter, keeping costs down.
Other than that, we recommend to set the budget high enough to hire high-end interpreters and the proper interpreting equipment. You need that for your meeting or event.
